Get Warrington’s Women Walking

We are excited to announce a new mental health initiative called Get Warrington Women Walking.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery with Sport England and the support of Active Cheshire, we are about to launch a series of walks across Warrington with the aim of improving women’s mental health and wellbeing. 

Walking is a great way to be active, to connect with others through conversations, to give a little time to others and to yourself, to take notice of nature and to learn about your local area – that’s all 5 Ways to Wellbeing in one!

Walks will be guided by trained walk leaders, all of whom are Get Warrington Talking Champions. 

As we are keen for anyone to participate, there will be a range of walks on offer for differing needs and abilities. You may prefer a 30 minute stroll or a more energetic 90 minute walk!

Whatever your preference the aim is to encourage women to look after their mental health and feel good about themselves. 

All you need to do is register for the walk, turn up and get walking and talking!
